I hope many people will contribute when the days are close. The sad part is that they do not realize that IV needs to know the collection amount details in advance to organize a mega event.

Hi guys,
Did anyone here get this RFE (quoted below)? I have been working for the sponsoring company for the past 5+ years at various client locations. The current location is a different state from the employer state. I always had all LCA's etc..So any tips on how to respond is highly appreciated.
Is just an EVL stating "same terms as in I-140 apply and still continue to offer" be good enough? Or do u guys suggest sending current LCA and pay stubs? I really dont want to send too much or too less..
I know people have different things to say and my lawyer will have his own opinion, but i wanted to see if anyone got this and how their lawyers responded and what response got their approval. Thanks in advance

Hi,
I got my EAD today...Even i received my EAD also...Mine is sent to NSC on july 2nd...I received EAD's from Texas Center...I think my application was transferred to Texas...I have approved I-140 from Texas...Are receipt numbers for EAD, 485, AP are in serial? I haven't received receipts yet...I filled G-28...my attorney did not receive my receipts...I don't know what is going on...

Just reading this thread, so not sure if I can attend today.
Will surely attend the rally with my wife on July14th.
Just a thought..Why not request all our GC/citizen friends to also attend?
I will persuade all my friends to attend.
If not anything, they can see it as a nice stroll in the downtown.

local chapters....I have been part to two chapters but not seeing any communication happening around..

My GC was approved on Aug.19, 2008 and received my Physical card on Aug. 22, 2008 :):). I am wondering what to do with the I 94 , which I received after my last re-entry to USA in 2006 using AP. Any info.

Everybody has been waiting for his/her green card and congratulations to all those who has got their GC. On the other hand it is really unfair and to some extent unethical on the part of USICS not follow a fair system.
There are several people in 2004, 2005 who have been paitently waiting for their turn only to see that people behind them getting approved.
You are talking about 2004, 05. What about 2001, 2002 and 2003? There are so many people with 2002 priority dates still waiting just like me. Mine is 02/2002

- Old EB2 cases (2001..2003)
- New EB2 cases (2004 and 2005)
- EB2 TSC processing Vs NSC processing

- Every year loosing Visas
- Kids aging out
- And so on...
The list can easily grow up. These are so much complicated that several civil rights activist put together can not get them fixed.

so from the above post it is obvious Sen Menendez will consider a recapture provision only as part of a comprehensive bill. Something similar repeated in United States recently when thousands of legal immigrants were given a cold shoulder, despite of their merit based claim for an American Green Card. They decided to apply Gandhian way of peaceful protest by sending thousands of flower bouquets to USCIS, an American agency responsible for immigration and citizenship. Instead of offering an apology, USCIS chief decided to again ignore the immigrants and simply issued a statement that the flowers will be forwarded to the injured service members recuperating at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. Once again a bureaucrat miscalculated the power hidden behind a peaceful protest. Now the power behind flowers is becoming a media mainstream story. NY Times, Washington Post, Reuters, Yahoo News are a few to name. Bollywood, has recently issued a statement providing its full support to Immigration Voice, the non profit organization behind the flower campaign.
An American way of fighting injustice "A law suit" is on its way, the usual rallies and demonstrations are about to begin. However, in America, its first time after Martin Luther King Jr., that someone has tried to apply Gandhi's way to fight injustice. It is yet not clear that what would be the outcome of this campaign, but there are rumours that USCIS is already discussing internally to reverse the discriminatory decision which resulted in this flower campaign causing enough embarrassement to them.
Its amazing to witness that 60 years after Gandhi's demise, his ideology is still relevant. We are sure its gonna remain relevant till there are Lord Wavell's in this world. Wavell's can momentarily laugh thinking that unorganized immigrants are helpless, but when the peaceful protest will demonstrate its political power, they surely will realize what Gandhi and Gandhian ways are all about.
