Can we setup a separate payment account for those willing to contribute to this campaign? It becomes difficult to coordinate if every individual goes on to mail the flowers. Instead we should all contribute to the "send a flower" campaign and then the person in charge of the account should send those flowers (with the note) on a pre-selected date.
It makes things easier for people and they may be more willing to participate!

I also heard from my attorney yesterday that the checks are being processed now. I don't have any information other than that. Can I also call them and get the receipt numbers -- what information do I need to get the number? My case was sent to TSC...

Today I saw that my checks were cashed and I called USCIS to get the receipt numbers. The IO was very polite and gave me the numbers. Although I had filed at the Nebraska center, the receipt number starts with SRC (Texas).

Gurus,
I have a unique position. couple of weeks back I was told that have fatal cancer and won't live pass 4-6 months. After recovering from initial shock I am wondering if my wife will be able to continue her american dream or she will have to head home after me.
I have filed 485 with approved 140 back in june, 2007 with PD of March, 2003
Please help.

Attorney got the receipts today FINALLYYYYYYYYYYY.... No update on my EAD/AP but spouse EAD "ordered"... One Hurdle cleared....

Application Sent on June 30th. Recd in NSC on July 2nd. I had applied only 485 at that time. Sent the other forms later with the Fedex receipt no. Waiting for EAD/AP receipt now!!

Thanks for clarifying. At first glance, the points you propose seem eminently reasonable and cannot be disputed. However, the real issue here is not what we "should" but what we "can".
Re contacting NumbersUSA and FAIRUS, do go ahead but I'm certain there is no chance of them holding hands with us and singing 'Kumbaya'. The discussions and postings on those sites look like they have been written up by "Ed Anger" of the World World News :D

All who are still waiting for FP, a suggestion based on my personal experience. If you are calling TSC, then it will not make any difference as you will not receive FP notice even after calling and waiting for months. I would suggest take Infopass and get the FP scheduled. For NSC, sometimes if you get nice IO they may schedule you right away and tell you the date of FP on the phone itself. This info is all based on my past experiences of reading various threads and calling TSC. So I am not sure what the trend is right now.

How does it matter now?. Whether the mess was caused by desi companies alone or with the help of some guys who got H1 for their wife , brother, mother and the local policeman who learned SAP in a week, the damage is already done.
