Everybody has been waiting for his/her green card and congratulations to all those who has got their GC. On the other hand it is really unfair and to some extent unethical on the part of USICS not follow a fair system.
There are several people in 2004, 2005 who have been paitently waiting for their turn only to see that people behind them getting approved.
Several of us have writtent to Ombudsman, Director but of no avail.
Not sure what else can be done? Any Idea? Do we have any liaison with AILA who can take up this matter.

A plain reading of the INA supports this contention. But then the USCIS always works in mysterious ways.

Immigration-law.com just reported that "As reported by the USCIS, the Service Centers are currently experiencing the receipting frontlogs. In some cases, there are frontlog of 45 days or longer...".
I pray to God that I will not need to wait 2 months for my receipt...

employer. I know many cases like this, people approach these Bodyshoppers to get H1, or to convert H4 to H1..... many pay even H1 processing fees(which is illegal)..... just pray that after getting H1 they will get some project and the employer will pay....... they won't dare to ask employer.... becoz he can just revoke H1 and just be done with it...... many many cases....

You have predicted that EB3-India cut of date would become June 2003. But your PD is July 2003. Usually people do not predict that way. They predict their own PD would become current pretty soon.:D

I think guys writing to individual congressmen will do nothing other than you getting a standard response that they empathize with your case. Here are some practical cases. Any eligible Eb3 person who can upconvert to eb2 should do it immediately. Second we need to educate USCIS about misuse of EB1 category where Project Managers are being included. Third is misuse of work experience in EB2 category where people have used fake experience letters to jack up their resume. USCIS should ask a sealed letter from some reputable background investigation company to validate the years and quality of experience that people claim they have same should be done to their degrees and certificates.
If we clean up the process the honest people will benefit from this. I am sure I will get lots of red for this but that will point to # of cheats on the forum who want to shut my voice

I just got this email... I have no idea what ADIT means... Does this mean approval? Good luck to those still waiting .. especially the EB3 crowd...

Package received by Nebraska SC: June/4.
Check cashed: June/14 (it shows LIN# on the back).
Querying status using this number shows a receipt date of June/12!
Samething happened to me. TSC received my application on June 6th, but when I checked my status it says that they received my application on June 11th.

I am one of the July 2 filer and calling the level 2 does not help should I check the TSC than NSC with them for my 485 app or it does not matter, my 140 was approved from NSC with April 2005 priority ....

Do not fight we are EB2/EB3/EB1. This is law and instructed by politicians. Divide and rule.
Same thing they did and now and you see the result in IV forum where people fight that create below category
1.Based on educations (US masters/US bachlors/Non US masters/Non US bachleors etc etc)
2. Based on experience - US experioence non us experience
3. EB1/EB/2 EB3
4. L1/H1/b1/b2
5. Family based
6 etc etc
If you count the division you can say based on heights, color, marries and non marries status etc.
So stop fighting based on politicians category and help IV to goahead and fight for all.
I personally feel when you fight you have success for one group and no success for other group. So do not feel that EB2 are getting beenfits. I myself is EB3 and expecting GC by 2026

I landed in Ca in Jan 08. my 485 pending. I had expired h1 when landing. I went for h1 stamping in Toronto during the trip. at the consulate you have to disclose you status in Ca. I told I just landed yesterday, and the officer congratulated me, and I got h1 renewed for 3 years (my h1 was renewed after my I140 was approved, but before I applied for 485 - so 3 yrs extn).
at the windsor border (drove by car), I even disclosed to guy that I landed in Ca. He did not say anything, but just asked to show my vehicle registration. Also he asked if I don't have to then live in Ca, I told him it's not necessary until after 3 years to maintian my residency there. He said Ok and let me in.
again it's better not to lie about you Ca pr, coz there's the landing stamp on your pp, even if you removed the document stapled on your pp.
again i've been to Ca twice since landing (with the doc staped on my pp). no problem re-enterin US.

If everybody prays together even GOD cannot resist.
I agree with WeShallOvercome and logiclife.
We worry about RP, EAD,AP etc. GC is not the end of the world. Is it worth worrying about the Plastic card.
